Doreen Dyet

Doreen Dyet is an established artist based in Rockland, Ontario, with a rich history of artistic expression dating back to the 1990s.

Following her retirement from the Federal Public Service, Doreen immersed herself fully in her passion for art, devoting her time to painting and contributing actively to the local arts community.

Doreen ‘s artistic journey has been marked by a dedication to honing her craft. Her involvement in various art organizations, including volunteering on executive boards, underscores her commitment to fostering artistic growth and collaboration within her community.

Doreen ‘s membership in esteemed art associations and her participation in numerous juried shows attest to the recognition and acclaim her work has garnered over the years. Notably, she was selected as an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists in 2024, a testament to the quality and merit of her artistic endeavors. Also, she recently obtained representation with the Circle Foundation for the Arts in France on their on-line gallery and is represented by the Rothwell Gallery in Ottawa and the PMAC Gallery in Alexandria.

Her body of work encompasses commissioned pieces as well as paintings that have found homes in private collections, reflecting both her artistic versatility and the profound connection her creations forge with viewers.
