Farther Afield
April 25 - May 15
Free

The Kanata Civic Art Gallery is pleased to invite you to a special off-site exhibition, “Farther Afield”, opening this Saturday, April 25th, at the Carleton Place Gallery.
This time, we’re taking things a little farther afield. For this exhibition, 29 artists are stepping outside our usual Kanata home and bringing their work to the Carleton Place Gallery. This is a chance to discover a wide range of local art in a fresh setting.
The exhibition features a diverse range of work, including painting, fibre art, sculpture, photography, and mixed media, reflecting the breadth of our artists’ practices.
Make an afternoon of it: visit the gallery, meet the artists, and enjoy the charm of Carleton Place along the way.
Exhibition Dates: April 25 – May 15, 2026
Join us for the Vernissage: Saturday, April 25, 2026, 1:00 – 4:00 PM
Meet the artists, enjoy light refreshments, and be part of the energy of opening day.
