Between the Noise by Patti Lefebvre – Vernissage

Patti Lefebvre is an Ottawa-based visual artist at The Rectory Art House and a graduate of the Ottawa School of Art. Her practice includes painting, printmaking, and collage, exploring the evolution of images and meanings in contemporary culture influenced by media, consumerism, and fashion. She has exhibited in Ontario and Quebec.  Between the Noise explores how meaning changes in our media-filled world. This series of paintings uses layered collage, text, and abstract gestures to show the struggle between clarity and distortion. It encourages viewers to take their time, look closely, and find connections within the visual chaos of modern communication.
