Tom Campbell – Artist Statement
By sculpting and painting the human figure my intent is to honour the individual person caught in their surroundings of the crowded city or in solitude with the elements of nature, Earth, Air, Water and Fire.
With the tone of the colours and the stillness of forms I wish to evoke some sense of age that may connect the contemporary moments depicted with that of human activity throughout time.
