Dimensions – Annie-France Bowker

In Dimensions, Annie-France Bowker explores form, perception, and imagined landscapes through handwoven wall hangings. Her work navigates the space between the tangible and the abstract, where geometry meets intuition and structure gives way to otherworldly possibility. Weaving is a deeply meditative process for Bowker, and in its rhythm, she often finds herself transported into unfamiliar inner spaces. Each piece begins as a sketch and evolves on the loom into a kind of puzzle, guided by both logic and instinct. Though the process is not always exact, there is a moment when material, gesture, and intention align, and each work finds its form.
