“My love affair with creation was born in Asia while I lived in Hong Kong and then Singapore with my family. Different art classes introduced me to paints and traditional tools but it is in the experimentation and mixing of techniques that I have developed my creative process which combines collage- décollage, acrylic paint and so-called, as rightly so, “mixed media.”

My pictorial approach can be summed up in one word: Serendipity: Find by chance what you are not looking for! Facing the white canvas, I never know where I am going. I am working in the present moment. All it takes is one image, one vintage photograph or an old piece of paper or fabric to ignite my imagination and make me follow a intuitive approach for a while. It is why I often work in series. There is a desire to create a universe that speaks of memory, of childhood and the passing of time, of nostalgia, poetry, mystery or humour depending on the days.”
