People In Places With Things by Mike Minor

I am enthralled by the human animal and its stubbornly consistent spirit, timelessly emotional conditions, and varied environments. My paintings build humbly on works of traditional painters laid down through the millennium. I want to tell timeless stories with my pictures and leave them to the collective whole of works.  In this exhibit, I explore people, places, and things.  In each piece—figurative work, portraits, landscapes, and still life paintings—I express on the canvas thoughts I cannot convey in words.
