Sunlit Moments by Marianne Feaver

Marianne Feaver celebrates the natural world through colour and light. Fleeting moments of radiance – sunlight filtering through trees, the shimmer of water across a lake or the dancing highlights of flower petals – form the heart of her work.  Her inspiration is drawn from the landscapes that surround her; the forest trails of the Gatineau Hills or the peaceful, rugged beauty that surrounds Wakefield.

Through vivid colour and loose, expressive brushstrokes, Marianne translates her emotional response to the landscape onto canvas.  Each painting seeks to capture the awe, joy and serenity found in those moments – the stillness of reflection, the brilliance of passing light, the quiet energy of the natural world.

Her works invite the viewer to pause and be immersed in the harmony and vitality of the scene – to breathe, to feel the exuberance, and to be transported to a place of peace and familiarity.
