DESCRIPTION:OIS Art of Canada is delighted to invite you to “Hanji (韓紙): A Thousand Years of Korean Paper Art – Hanji Meets Canada\,” the first-ever Hanji touring exhibition presented in Ottawa as part of Asian Heritage Month 2026. This special exhibition introduces the beauty\, history\, and contemporary artistic possibilities of Hanji — Korea’s traditional handmade paper with over a thousand years of cultural heritage. Featuring works by seven distinguished Korean Hanji artists\, the exhibition highlights how traditional Korean paper art continues to evolve through contemporary artistic practices.
