Art in the Neighbourhood is an Ottawa-based artist collective that presents two major annual juried art events: the Spring Art Festival (held each May on the Saturday before Mother’s Day at the covered JTC Sens Rink, Canterbury Complex) and the Fall Art Show (held each November at Emmanuel United Church on Smyth Road).
In addition to its in-person exhibitions, Art in the Neighbourhood operates a fully curated online gallery showcasing the work of Ottawa–Gatineau artists year-round. The platform provides individual artist pages, dedicated “Gallery Rooms” and “Gallery Shops,” and direct purchasing options; extending visibility and sales opportunities beyond seasonal events.
Founded to support independent Canadian artists, the collective fosters connection between artists and collectors through thoughtfully curated presentations, community partnerships, and accessible price points.
Art in the Neighbourhood continues to grow as both a physical exhibition presence and a digital gallery space serving the Ottawa arts community.
